Google has added brand management tools to Gemini, a set of business features for creating brand assets and managing reporting. The headline capability: upload your brand guidelines once, and Gemini remembers the style so you can generate consistent, on-brand creative with conversational prompts.
A refreshed Gemini for business landing page
The updated landing page adds quick links to brand content creation, financial performance analysis and audience insights. Businesses can connect multiple Google profiles to power more accurate insights and recommendations.
Third-party app support
Gemini now connects with third-party apps including Adobe, Canva, Dropbox and Shopify. More connected data means broader recommendations — but also means trusting more sensitive business data to Google’s AI tools.
On-brand image generation
Businesses can upload brand images, fonts, color palettes and website links to give Gemini context for image generation. “When paired with the power of Nano Banana 2.1 (our latest image generation model), Gemini can now deliver end-to-end visual results for new product launches or ongoing marketing campaigns,” Google said. Gemini retains the visual style, so teams don’t have to re-upload style guides each time.
Receipts and spreadsheets into financial charts
Gemini can also convert spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into financial graphics and interactive models — a lightweight analytics option for small businesses without dedicated BI tools.
Takeaways for marketers
- Package your brand guide for AI. Keep master logos, fonts, color codes, hero images and tone examples in one place so any generative tool can use them.
- Review, not generation, is the bottleneck. Faster creative makes briefs, QA and compliance checks the real constraint — an analysis of 25M+ ad assets found only 6 hours of a 10-day cycle was actual production.
- Start with minimal data access. Given frequent reports of AI tools exposing proprietary data, connect financial and customer data gradually, with scoped permissions.
Google is also pushing Gemini into shopping with Universal Cart, suggesting Gemini aims to be the entry point for both marketing production and purchasing.
